ALT Code for Windows
In Windows there is a option to insert some symbols such as ☺☻ or ♥♦♣♠ or ♪♫ or ↑↓←→ using just the Numpad on a keyboard. This is done by holding down the ALT key and pressing the corresponding number on the Numpad.
The smily ☺ is inserted by holding down the ALT key and pressing 1 and then releasing the ALT key.
