I have an (now old) Nexus 10 tablet which I use as a photo frame. The screen on the N10 is really nice and bright, hence this works out quite nicely. Also, having the high resolution certainly helps.

One thing I have not managed to do for a long time is to disable the charging screen that shows when you connected the device to a charger. Today I found it is very easy.

Note: I am running the latest official build LMY49J (5.1.1), rooted and with Xposed framework.

All commands are to be carried out in bootloader mode (fastboot mode).

Auto boot on charge:

fastboot oem off-mode-charge 0

Restore default (charge screen while off and charging)

fastboot oem off-mode-charge 1
